Christmas Dinner Dec 22, 2012

Dec 22.  The day starts by delivering Marlys to Gila Bend where she meets her Nephew to carry her on the Phoenix for Christmas.  Lunch at the Space Age Restaurant

Breakfast AND lunch. In anticipation for a nice dinner at 5.

Gila Bend is a Classy little city.

Micky and Jerry.  Bring on the food!

OK.  No more names :-)  It would take all night to add captions, and you know who you are.  This is for family and friends anyway.  The dinner was excellent as usual, and the company of park friends is what it's all about.  Thanks Bob and Linda, Ruth and Frank for taking care of us.  And thanks to all those that cooked and did the work.

Maybe my favorite picture of the day! :-)

Nice shirt, Katie!

Ruth, you better check their ID.  This couple is too young and good looking to be here! :-)

Awwwww, isn't that sweet.

Big plate for a little lady.  Way to go, Anna!

Lynda and Robert.  Our host and hostess.   Cheer up guys, I know you're having fun :-)

This will wrap up the Christmas Dinner.  We'll be out of town for the next week, so if anyone wants to take pictures of the gift exchange and music, I'd be happy to post them on this blog.  Will be back on the 30th.  Would really appreciate some shot of the rest of the Christmas activities.  Either email me the pictures, or loan me your camera card and I'll take off a few to put on here.

Dec. 6th post

Ev Hanson, a long time Winter resident of Rolle's Lynda Vista, passed away this morning, December 6th.  She was in Canada with her husband, Dale.  It had been a long battle with cancer.  We'll all miss Ev.

It's that time of year.  A lot of the residents are "lighting up"
